Bimetallic Strips supplier
Bimetallic Strips are not an alloy and copper layers are not electroplating / galvanic coatings but are rather mechanically welded on Aluminium with Copper Strips. Aluminium copper cladded bi-metal (ALCU) comprises copper (Strip metal) cladded on pure Aluminium (base metal). Both metals are diffused together to form an attached whole by a roll bonding process.
Bimetallic Strips prevent corrosion and oxidation, are safe to use and require very low costs. Bimetallic Strips are provided terminals with PVC insulation to provide di-electric strength. Bimetallic Strips are used for connecting aluminium cable to copper bus bars, washers to prevent bimetallic galvanic electro-corrosion at copper and Aluminium joints. Bimetallic Strips are widely used in the field of electrical appliances, automotive sector, and aerospace industry.
