Molybdenum Alloy Chemical Composition
Molybdenum Alloy is a commercially pure grade with 99.9% molybdenum. Molybdenum Alloy contains potassium, silicon, aluminium, iron, nickel, chromium, copper, sodium and tungsten present in trace quantities to enhance the metal. Molybdenum Alloy grade has a melting point of 2610 degrees Celsius and has 580MPa minimum tensile strength and 350MPa minimum yield strength. Our Molybdenum Discs have a low coefficient of thermal expansion to that of silicon and high-performance machining properties. We offer both a polishing surface and a lapping surface.

Molybdenum Disc finds uses as heat sink bases in IC’S, LSI’S, and hybrid circuits , an electronic component of high power and high-reliability semiconductor for heat dissipation, contact materials in silicon-controlled rectifiers diodes, transistors, and thyristors (GTO’S).
